Description
Developing and executing social strategy and campaigns for a range of Tanzanian and international brands. This is a truly end-to-end role, encompassing the full lifecycle from initial brief and planning, through to campaign implementation and reporting.
There are 4 key areas of responsibility:
Strategy – Support social strategy for key clients – Identify relevant channels, partners and influencers – Recommend appropriate paid social media strategy to support activity – Set KPIs – Present strategy to clients and internal teams
Campaign execution – Execute social campaigns, being the day to day contact for internal teams and clients – Manage relationships with influencers and partners – Plan & implement paid social media – promoting content and setting up media campaigns
Reporting & insight – Generate and present performance reports to client and internally – Directing community managers to deliver effective content calendars based on social media channel performance analysis
Research & trends – Keep up to date with social and digital trends, sharing knowledge and thought leadership within the agency
Background and experience
- Minimum 2 years social media marketing experience – Has experience in planning & running paid social campaigns – Evidence working with innovative social brands – Has worked on multiple social campaigns with positive results – Has used social media measurement and insight tools – Passion for social media & digital innovation
Key skills
- Confident presenter – Strong copywriting skills – Highly numerate – Client facing – Software literate (e.g. social analytics and listening tools)
