Job Description

An exciting position has arisen at Ozlem Company Limited for the appointment of Territory Sales Executive to manage sales.

JOB PURPOSE

1. Maximises sales revenue by working through and with Agents, Wholesalers, Dealer stores/shops and other partners within assigned territory.

2. Works alongside with Sales & Marketing Manager to carry out all the activities required to achieve set targets.

3. Monitors stock levels at Agents, Wholesalers, and Dealer stores/shops and other partners in the trade

4. Identifies gaps and opportunities in the market and brings them to management attention for action.

5. Responsible for generating Sales Revenue by approaching potential customers, Sells products directly to customers primarily via face-to-face contact. Develops strong relationships with these customers to ensure sensitivity to the customer’s needs, concerns and emerging requirements.

This position reports into the MANAGER - SALES & MARKETING

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1 - Ensures the achievement of agreed sales targets through Agents, Wholesalers, Dealer stores/shops and other partners within assigned territory, Also to develop and maintain customer Database for the territory.


2 - Implement Sales and Marketing activities in the territory:
• Co-ordinates the Sales of Ozlem Company products within assigned territory to ensure continuous availability in Selling stores

• Manages the distribution of branding and promotion materials to enhance visibility and build consumer/dealer loyalty within the territory


• Identifies requirements for trade promotions and recommends to the Manager - Sales & Marketing
• Implements and supports promotional activities in the territory to drive sales

• Monitors competitor activity within the territory and reports with recommendations for action to Manager - Sales & Marketing


3 - Work with and support Sales Partners:
• Familiarizes him/herself with the Sales partners for the purpose of building relationship and sales achieving sales targets

• Supports the Sales partners in developing action plans geared towards the achievement of the agreed targets

• In instances of products out of box failure(OBF)/or Damages, establishes causes and takes counteractive actions and immediately report to Manager - Sales & Marketing

• Trains all Sales partners on Ozlem Company products Quality and value for money


4 - Ensure implementation and maintenance of Ozlem Company operating standards within designated territory. These will include among others; customer relationship, products availability standards, products display standards, pricing, and retail POS standards

Ensure compliance of Tanzania government Laws/Rules/Regulations while executing day to day activities


5 - Provide Reports:
• Generates weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on the sales trends in the territory
Generates weekly reports on Agents performance
Market intelligence reports on competitor activities


Position Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• University Degree or equivalent training in business or sales management
• Able to work under high stress with short-term targets and objectives
• High level of integrity and work ethics
• Presentation skills
• Computer literacy – Excel, Power point and Word
• Able to operate in a performance driven organization
• Knowledge of Swahili and English
• Clean Driving Licence
