1. Effectively applying the
principles of labour laws and ensuring effective management of
industrial relations/ HR matters.
2. Advising management on wage negotiations as well as dispute resolution processes.
3. Providing advice on issues arising from disciplinary processes focusing on outcomes and sanctions to be administered.
4. Advise on Safety of the employees particularly the ones working in industries, mining or related fields.
5. Maintains and enhances the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
6. Maintains human resource staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
7. Counselling applicants and employees on rules, policies, benefits, procedures and job opportunities.
8. Providing Advocacy on some Industrial Policies to the Workers and Perform Mediation whenever the dispute or misunderstanding arises.
9. Developing policies and practices to aid in maintaining consistent strategic direction while adhering to good practice and legislative requirements.
10. Performing administrative and management functions related to the practice of Labour law.
11. Development of the Human Resources policies and procedures.

Position Requirements
Degree in Human Resources Management
• 2 - 3 years’ experience in Tanzania’s labour laws
• Flexible and result oriented
• Experience in dealing with diversity human resources and labour laws related matters
• Experience in dealing/handling CMA cases at arbitration and mediation
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Prepare reports & Computer Literate.
• 2 - 3 years’ experience in Tanzania’s labour laws
• Flexible and result oriented
• Experience in dealing with diversity human resources and labour laws related matters
• Experience in dealing/handling CMA cases at arbitration and mediation
