Role overview
Your primary responsibilities will be to drive passengers, run errands and undertake other logistical requests for the project Office.
Skills, qualifications and experience required
The candidate should have:
Essential
Full,valid, clean driving licence and significant level of driving experience.
Familiar with and able to undertake basic 4WD vehicle checks and servicing
Excellent knowledge of the Country’s geography
Good understanding of English
Holding of School Certificate
Ability to work well in a team
Able to plan the order of daily work efficiently using own initiative
Able to travel and spend time away from home for extended periods of time
Commitment to delivering excellent customer service
Flexibility to adapt to new situations, with a positive attitude to working in an international organisation with progressive work standards
Commitment to VSO’s values and sensitivity to equal opportunities particularly regarding HIV&AIDS, disability and gender
Desirable
Experience working with international Non-Government Organisations
Experience working with Government Officials

Role overview
Ensure project outcome delivered to quality required by the project (with specified risks and benefits), to schedule within set budgets and scope. Provide a key co-ordination and implementation role, ensuring project management standards are followed and deadlines met.
Skills, qualifications and experience required
Essential:
Project Management - Experience of planning and managing projects with multiple stakeholders, delivering expected benefits in challenging contexts to tight deadlines.
Training, Teaching & Pedagogy skills.
Possess Training and Teaching Pedagogy skills from Training instructions or organisations.
People Management - Experience of matrix management of project team members across a global organisation.
At least three years in management and Training or education background.
Minimum holder of first degree or Advanced diploma in Education, Engineering, or Technical education from from any recognized training or education colleges or University.
All volunteers have an allowance paid in local currency. The allowance meets reasonable living expenses in country, but will not be enough to send money home.
VSO works with some of the poorest communities in the world which means accommodation varies and will be basic.
